Text Box: Castle Point Gas &Heating Co Ltd was originally formed in 1982 by Mr David Wells as a sole trading company. Castle Point Gas & Heating Co Ltd was among the first 150 gas installation companies to attain the CORGI (corporation of registered gas installers) accreditation. The company registration number for CORGI is 126. The Company has developed into one of the largest heating and gas companies in the south of England employing over 85 staff and 14 apprentices. Castle Point Gas & Heating Co Ltd has had an established training program since 1992 with a local Gas Training Centre in Basildon and Barking Technical College therefore the majority of our staff have been employed by this company for more than 10 years and in most cases qualified through our apprentice training scheme. Castle Point Gas & Heating Co Ltd also practice ongoing training with all the major manufacturers of heating boilers and equipment to keep our engineers up to date with new appliances and future technology, we also train all our staff (including office staff) in all aspects of Health and Safety, Fire Safety and First Aid. All supervisors/managers have attained IOSH certification for the management of Health and Safety as well as CITB certification for Health and Safety.
